Founded in 1983, the Highland Belles drill team of Highland Park High School in Dallas, TX is one of the most awarded performance groups in the nation. Created by three intrepid teenage girls who “just wanted to dance,” this documentary follows this group from its big hair & spandex beginnings in the 1980s to national prominence today. The film was premiered at Highland Park Village Theater to three sold out audiences in 2014.
